- What all is entailed in setting up a guitar? New strings, action adjustment, tuning, diagnostic of instrument, fret check.
- How do I choose the right drumstick? To really find the stick that fits you, you should start with the core, which is the wood. There are 3 main types of wood; maple, which is a lighter weight wood, Hickory, which is the most common, and Oak wood whic will not break as often and is the densest of the woods. When choosing your tip, there are 2 types to choose from: wood or nylon. The most common is the wood tip which is a solid choice for most drummers. The only downside to wood tips is that it will chip after extensive use. Nylon tips are great for bringing out your cymbals and are great for studio work. To choose your size, 7A sticks are thinner, light weight sticks great for jazz players and beginners. The 5A sticks are the most common, they have a medium thickness good for loud and soft players. The sizes 2B and 5B are thicker, so they allow for louder sounding drums and Rock drummers.
